Lo scorso 20 Aprile la casa discografica Lakeshore Records ha pubblicato digitalmente il terzo ed ultimo soundtrack di Star Trek: Picard! Si tratta delle musiche inedite della terza ed ultima stagione dello show sci-fi con Patrick Stewart (Blunt Talk), conclusosi nel nostro paese il 21 Aprile su Amazon Prime Video e Paramount+. L’album verrà realizzato in vinile in un secondo tempo.
A differenza delle due precedenti stagioni, le cui musiche sono state composte da Jeff Russo, i musicisti accreditati per quest’ultimo album sono Stephen Barton e Frederik Wiedmann. Stando alle dichiarazioni dello showrunner Terry Matalas, nei nuovi brani sono stati incorporati i temi storici realizzati dai compianti Jerry Goldsmith e James Horner.
